What is the legal on the well in Union County?

Jburgess

Brammer Engineering is acting as agent for Bulldog Operating and is sending out division orders for the Watson-Fullenwider well.
It will be interesting to watch, they did sell some oil, so the RI need to be paid.

Brammer has sent out the checks for what they did sell in January 2011 from the Watson Fullenwider well. The product listed is condensates, the price per unit is 89.51, total volume is 312.71 and total value is 27,990.83. I wonder how many days that covers.

What are division orders and what is RI?

A division Order simply indicates all the Working Interest (WI), Overriding Royalty Interest(ORI), and Royalty Interest (RI) owners in each well or unit.

It shows how much in terms of percent of revenue that each entity will receive.

Thanks. How long does it take until this information becomes public?
There is no proof that any significant energy company other than those mentioned in the blog were aware of the Haynesville Shale as a viable prospect prior to the spring of 2008 including Petrohawk, EXCO, Questar, EOG, XTO, J-W, Comstock and El Paso just to name a few who are now thought of as serious HS drillers.  They all "lucked into the shale" because of having advantageous leasehold that was acquired for the exploration and production of other formations/zones.  A few did institute aggressive leasing programs beyond their legacy leasehold after the public announcement.
