  • Freestone County

    XTO Energy will drill the Wilburn Well No. 8 and the Scarborough Gas Unit Well No. 3 in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier) Field.

The No. 8 will hit 13,000 feet 5.1 miles southeast of Teague in the J.P. Moffitt Survey, A-421.
 
The No. 3 will hit 11,800 feet 9.4 miles northwest of Fairfield in the J. Mata Survey, A-414.

XTO Energy will drill the Fulton "A" Well No. 14 in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field and the Larson "A" II Gas Unit Well No. 14 in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field.

The Fulton will hit 14,000 feet 2.4 miles southeast of Donie in the G. Diaz Survey, A-178. This well may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Travis or Pettit Peak) Fields.

The Larson No. 14 will hit 12,700 feet 5.5 miles southeast of Teague in the G. Luna Survey, A-18.

Four wells will be drilled by XTO Energy the Teague (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.

The Hugh Reed "A" Gas Unit Well No. 5 will be drilled 2.6 miles northeast of Fairfield in the Jones, W M C Survey, A-14 to a depth of 13,300 feet.

The Butler Gas Unit Well No. 20 will hit 12,600 feet 2.8 miles southeast of Teague in the I. Jessup Survey, A-335.

The Stark Gas Unit Well No. 3H will hit 16,500 feet 1.6 miles southwest of Fairfield in the I.H. Reed Survey, A-23.

The Ham Gas Unit Well No. 33 will hit 12,400 feet 3.9 miles southeast of Teague in the Ruffin Lawson Survey, A-375.
  • Leon County

    The Bedsole Gas Unit Well No. 3 will be drilled by BRG Lone Star in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field. This well will hit 10,500 feet 5.1 miles southwest of Jewett in the W. McIntire Survey, A-538 and may be drilled in the Branton (Rodessa) Field, a wildcat field or the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field.

  • Limestone County

    The S.J. Harlow Gas Unit Well No. 18, the Jeff Thomas Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 22H and the Beachcomber Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 22 will be drilled by XTO Energy.

The No. 18 will hit 12,800 feet 14 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. It is in the J.L. Chavert Survey, A-4.

The No. 22H will hit 21,000 feet 4.5 miles southwest of Donie in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field in the M.C. Rejon Survey, A-26. This well may also be drilled in the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field or the Southeast Farrar (Pettit) Field.

The No. 22 will hit 13,500 feet 4.4 miles southwest of Donie in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field in the M.C. Rejon Survey, A-26. It may be drilled in the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field.

  • Freestone County

    Four new wells were completed by XTO Energy.

The Aycock Interests L.P. Gas Unit Well No. 1 hit 12,512 feet 3.1 miles southwest of Teague in the Teague Field. This well potentialed 856,000 cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

The Oma McMichael Gas Unit Well No. 6 hit 12,700 feet 2.3 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague Field. This well potentialed 667,000 cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.

The Reed "E" Gas Unit Well No. 20 hit 14,405 feet 2.9 miles southwest of Donie in the Bear Grass Field. This well potentialed 2.553 million cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

The Rogers Gas Unit Well No. 19 hit 12,067 feet 4.9 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague Field. This well potentialed 1.321 million cubic feet of gas on a 18/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.
Limestone County

XTO Energy completed the Jeff Thomas Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 19 to 13,420 feet 4.5 miles southwest of Donie in the Farrar Field. On a 16/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.783 million cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley Lime.
 
  • Robertson County

    The Young Gas Unit Well No. 2 and the Stegall Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 2 have been completed in the Bald Prairie Field by XTO Energy.

The Young Gas Unit Well No. 2 hit 15,000 feet 3.5 miles northwest of Franklin and potentialed 1.754 million cubic feet of gas on a 17/64-inch choke.

The Stegall Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 2 hit 13,305 feet 5.6 miles northwest of Franklin and potentialed 271,000 cubic feet of gas on a 30/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
