Although well control remains limited, the areas being explored to the east of the Terryville Complex are indicating a trend to lower liquids volumes and lower gas IPs.  They are still good gas wells but don't have the economics of the wetter gas, higher IP Terryville wells.  That supports MRD's recent trend to spend their available capital in the Terryville Complex and to wait for better prices before doing much more to the east.

Is there a map of the Terryville Complex?  One that indicates Section lines?

Not that I have ever seen.  The made up term, Terryville Complex, is used to define MRD's core development area made up of multiple, adjoining small foot print fields:  Terryville, Hico-Knowles, Ruston and West Simsboro.

If you post your section of interest (including township and range), I'll tell you which field it is in.

Section 9-3W-18N

Thanks.

Section 9 is in the Ruston Field which is a part of the Terryville Complex although on it's eastern edge as now defined.  The Choudrant Field begins 2 miles further east in Section 12.  The permitted well in that section would be a good one to follow as it will help define the quality of the rock in 9.  There is no rig assigned to that well at this time.  Here's a link:

Thank you and I appreciate any info you have concerning this area.

You're welcome, spl. The bulk of the leases that MRD picked up from several companies late last year are in 18N-3W, very little is east of that township.
