In order to avoid confusion over company names I will begin referring to Wildhorse Resource Management by the initials, WRM.  There is no longer an operating entity by the name of Wildhorse Resources.  The Wildhorse Resources Terryville Complex operating area was acquired by Memorial Resource Development in late 2013 or early 2014.  I will use MRD when referring to that company.  I will also point out that WRM is a private company and does not make corporate presentations or issue regular press releases.  MRD is a public corporation and provides a good bit of detail as to their N LA operations on their website and in their presentations and press releases.  When WRM completes a well, it will simply show up in the state database without any accompanying announcement.  Here are the first two completions reported.

Pipes 14-11H #1, Section 14, Township 18 North, Range 1 West, Tremont Field:  2.705 MMCFD, 28 BOCD, 32/64" Choke, 2050 #, 8221' of Perforated Lateral, production from CV RA.

Spillers 18-7H 1-Alt., Section 18, Township 18 North, Range 1 West, Choudrant Field:  18.168 MMCFD, 24 BOCD, 30/64" Choke, 5886#, 8889' Perforated Lateral, production from CV RB

It's a typo.  Thanks for pointing it out.  It's now corrected.

Skip, thanks again for the info. What's your thoughts regarding these well results.

The Pipes is unlikely to recover it's cost.  Now that far east area waits to see if the Surline well, next door in Section 14, will be completed and, if so, whether it is economic.  The Spillers well is better as demonstrated by the higher pressure in addition to the 18MMcf of gas.  The liquids are lower than the average Terryville Complex well.  I'll look forward to reviewing the WH-1 report when it is entered in the database.  A couple of wells does not prove or condemn an area but taken with the no bids in the August State Mineral Auction for tracts in Ranges 1W and 1E it may indicate caution in continuing to explore further east on the part of WRM.

James, the Terryville complex horizontal wells reported initial production on choke sizes 26 to 48/64ths.  The majority appear to be in the 38 to 30/64ths. range.  The Spillers well would be among the wells with the best flowing pressure even if it the choke was opened to something in that range,  There's no doubt that it's a good gas well.  It's the low liquids volume that keeps it from being on a par with the Terryville Complex wells.
