Don't know why all that extraneous stuff got into the URL.  I'll try it again:

Go to "Highway Maps" then "County Maps" then "Pike".  Do you know how deep they drill for Seismograph explosion?

Well that is what I thought as well. They are stating that it is not a disposal well.  They have rig on site so I guess we will see soon enough.  Where did you locate this map?

Correction:  The well you were speaking of near N. River Road was permitted to Denbury on 04/20/2012'.  From the permitted depth of 2850', do you think it may be a disposal well?

Thanks William...they sent us the paperwork via Fed-X and we did a next day turn around.  They originally told us to expect our lease money within three to six weeks, however we're now at 8.  This is exactly what I needed to know.  Now we can proceed with contacting them again and seeing what the hold-up is.

Many thanks!

My experience is that once they have all the parties to lease signed up, they are pretty fast.  So if some one in your group is dragging their feet, you have to wait.  Our leasing company sent us the papers via UPS and we had lease money in about three weeks.  But then there are no lagards in our family, everybody wanted the money!

Curious.....

We signed a lease with a company in early March and have been promised our lease payment for almost three months.  Is it normal procedure to take this long?

I am curious about the well that drilling just started this week in North Pike County off of River Road North. I can not seem to find anything about it on the Mississippi Oil and Gas website.  Any help is appreciated.
