DID HIRE LAWYERS AND XTO HAS FINALLY FILED LETTER TO PULL MONIES OUT OF DISTRICT CLERKS AND PAY THE HEIRS THAT DID FILE PROOF OF HEIRSHIP. ONLY A FEW WENT THROUGH THE LONG DRAWN OUT DETAIL. WE HAVE NOT RECD A DIVISION ORDER. ASKED THEM WHY AND XTO SAID TEXAS DOES NOT ALWAYS REQUIRE DIVISION ORDERS. NEVER HEARD OF THIS. WE HAVE A ROYALTY COMING TO US IN LOUISIANA AND DIV ORDER WAS SENT IMMEDIATELY. HAVE ANY MORE WELLS BEEN ADDED AROUND THESE 3 . IF ANYONE KNOWS PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I HAVE KIND OF SLACKED ON KEEPING UP WITH ALL THIS LATELY. GUESS THE TRRC COULD TELL ME. IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO ON THESE 3 WELLS PLEASE CONTACT ME. THANKS
Texas mineral ownership is harder to run than Louisiana. There are different laws in Texas that separate the mineral rights from the surface rights forever. In Louisiana you can only hold the separated mineral rights from a sale for 10 years unless there is production from the property. Once the property doesn't produce minerals for 10 years then the mineral rights revert back to the surface owner.
I know. We just went throough all that. We 90 something heirs own the bottom . The deceased lease I found out has passed away. Only 20 of us actually proved heirship legally. Actually had to go back 50 years. We may get our attorney fees back. See the Huskies well is still producing. There are 2 horizontal wells and one deep well. An amendment was filed last year to drill deeper in the James Lime deal. Just wondered if any more wells have been tied in to these. Our royalties will be small I ma sure. Thought maybe someone knew any actions lately. Landman said new wells are going on and will, but they are waiting on gas prices to go up. Thanks
WE ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE THE RIGHTS FOR LIFE.
