Denham Springs Country Club Well

Any new info on our Denham Springs Country Club Well #1.  It looks as though preperations are being made (clearing land) for the additional well.  I can see the derrick lights at night and hear very little noise during the day.  They should soon be near the desired depth with the well.

chad, I suggest that you start a discussion and ask some specific questions.  It works better than posting in the comments section of the group page.

Saw an interesting story about how the U S has finally surpassed other SUPER energy-rich countries to become #1 in gas production.  http://www.theguardian.com/business/2013/oct/04/us-oil-natural-gas-...

Gaynell,
Can also see it from the rear of the carwash on Eden Church road, the steel mill on Hatchell, and  also an excellent view if you turn down Jason Drive off of Hatchell (where I live).  You can also get on Cockerham  just across the street from Friendship Elementary School you turn into the old DavidsonBuckle2 well and they're now cutting a path to join the two by pipeline (& to main pipeline?).  I've also seen helicopters overhead lately, and I"m wondering if there might be any good ariel pics. Hilcorp also has a facebook page, and that might be the place to look for pics.

Restaurants and oil wells are both risky business ventures.

Thanks Skip, I downloaded the info and printed it out. I had a restaurant in new Orleans and my Dad made me name it "Smackover" he never told me why. After he passed I found out it was named after his drilling for oil.......LOL

Anyone know the total number of rigs drilling in Livingston Parish?  We can see the Hilcorp rig at the Denham Springs Country Club #1 site from our yard.
