MY mother was born and raised in San Augustine. We are very excited about all the activity. Plus my family owns several mineral intersts from Hemphill all the way up to Longview and over to Nacogdoches. CT

My mother was also born and raised in San Augustine. Since my mother is deceased my siblings and I have collected on some land there almost two years ago and then last year we collected on our inheritance that was left by our grandparents dated back in the 1800's. I still have relatives that are living there and I was talking to my aunt about some of the family history. I found out that my granddaddy Lynch was the Tax Assesor there many years ago and he bought up much land there. I was told that there still might be even more land yet that they just haven't gotten to yet that we will also get inheritance on it too.

Mr. Tipps. You will have a much better chance of receiving responses if you post in the correct location. Few members read the blogs. They are not intended for regular discussion topics. You should post in the San Augustine and other E. Tx. county groups. If you do not see the groups you need on the Main Page, click on "View All" and sort through the entire list until you find the ones you want. Good Luck.
