My brother is commissioner for this area and he met with the company that is going to build the pipeline for Endavor, this week on Reeves creek road. The company man told him that there would be five wells drilled from Behind Mr. Halls home on to the nine mile with the pipeline going to an existing pipeline in the Pendleton area that goes on to Lake Charles. The location behind Mr Halls home is near an existing well that was drilled years ago. Technology has impeoved and hopefilly there will be good results. My family and I also have mineral rights in the area. Heres hoping!!

I have mineral rights in Milam, TX. Can anyone tell me where the R. Slaughter Survey is in relation to Milam?

Also, has anyone in Milam had any lease offers recently?
R. Slaughter is about 6 miles North on 87 from 21 near Milam, in fact 87 goes right through it. After that is the J Mc Adams survey where one of the two Range wells is permitted on the North ( some call it East )side of the road.
My family and I also have mineral rights in theR Richarda53 survey and part of the James C. BoydSurvey A76. It is located approximately seven miles north of Milam down the Reeves creek Road.
Mr.Halls home is just past the new Patroon creek bridge on the RichardA53 and part of the James C Boyd A 76 survey. Reeves creek road approx. seven miles north of Milam off HWY 87.
Does anyone know when Endeavor plans to start on these wells?
I WOULD GUESS MAYBE AFTER THEY DRILL AND COMPLETE WELL PERMITTED IN SHELBY COUNTY

If you are talking about the well in Shelbyville, It's completed. You may not be talking about that well though.
Geologist touting Northern Sabine County of Texas is loaded with gas from Haynesville, Bossier, James Lime and has lots of oil in the Pettit. He predicts that the northern part of Sabine will get very busy real soon with rigs in 2010. He stated that the BOPS need to be working before they drill off into this high pressure gas thats present. He thinks that it will be a very sweet spot in the play for every formation mentioned.
Mostly wilcox and saratoga before that. I can't remember any seismic being done around here since the mid to late 90's either. That disposal well Common just permitted is for the James at about 5800' isn't it?

But, if anyone wants to look, API #403-30016 produced from the CV Lime at a depth of nearly 14000' TVD in the T&NO RR No. 15, A-212 about 3 miles east of Hemphill back in the early 80s.
Having an educated opinion that the formations are there(speaking of the geologist of course) and showing that it has produced in the past are two totally different things Rick. They can both be true at the same time. You will always be right that there has been no production from the Haynesville/Bossier to date in Sabine County.......until your not. Everyone on this site knows that they have not proved it with a successful well yet but thousands of acres have been leased for millions of dollars and by companies with, yes, more expertise than all of us put together, and they have not disproved it either. Almost all of this acreage has been leased in the Northern part of the County. Obviously the Austin Chalk is not their target but thanks for clarifying that for us. Let's face it, you are a glass is half empty kind of a guy. That's cool, I just choose to look at it a little differently.
I am just messin with ya Rick. You have been good for this board.
