I have property that was leased by my grandfather for 99 years.  I believe that it was initally with Exxon Oil  Now it is with Marathon Oil?  The property is on both sides of Hwy. 79.  Is there any drilling going on around that area.  It is right on the borderline of Haynesville going into Arkansas.  Do you think I have not heard anything because of the longterm lease that my grandfather signed?  Please let me know if there are others that are having the same problem.  I have approximately 170 acres.

Probally too far north for HA.

Ownership of the lease could vary, look at what producing wells are holding your lease, who is the operator?
