Compressor station?

I just looked up some pictures of these stations and you are right some sites are 20-25 acres. That would be great news. They must be expecting significant amounts of gas to flow though there to spend the kind of money it takes to build that kind of a station($50-$70 million).

I saw possibly one compressor.  Was the entire 20 acres utilized?  This tract is only 1 mile from the western shore of Toledo Bend, possibly also a super pad for drilling under the lake?

Bryan, I would estimate 12 to 15 acres was cleared and site prepped and that the facilities occupy about 5 ac. I was told by the contractor that the remaining area was for potential "future expansion". Doubt seriously that they would drill on this location.

Sounds like there are plans for Sabine County which people on the street are not aware of yet.

Could be a big station / yard. I hear Boulevard was bought by the (BIG) Tenaska folks, after Boulevard got permission to "upgrade" the pipe size to 24". Man - a 24" will carry a lot of gas - and - I heard Boulevard / Tenaska were running more pipe up North to pick up gas from the CHK - Hezekiah & Bridges wells (also the permits they took over from Range Resources). Has anyone gotten a lease offer up in that (Northern) part of Sabine Co.????

From the platt, this looks to be the same piece of property that the processing facilities were built on recently for the "Hall " line tie in to Gulf South.

My family has had minerals-production since the 30's. Gas was virtually worthless then, usually flared. Remember the old stories about being able to read a newspaper at midnight in Gladewater-Longview from the flares at Kilgore? Of course, times are different and the "fuel of the future" is appreciated and sought-after. Even though times are semi-bad for gas right now, it is always helpful to keep in touch, if you have an interest. Jon - can you share any details, ... AND ... does anybody know any results from the Hall well? Is the Barrett being drilled? I've heard there has been surveying for even more wells in the area, most - close to the Barrett location / well...
Any help would be appreciated greatly!
