I know that a few people have asked in other discussions, but does anyone have any information about Lane #2? Thanks...we, around that area are really looking forward to some information on how that well is producing. I would appreciate any information.

So, since they have released the production on this well now and apparently it is doing pretty well.  What does that mean for those of us who have unleased minerals in that very near vicinity?  Thanks for anyone's reply in advance. LJW

RBH,  What does that mean?  Is it producing gas or oil?  And how much.  I am not able to see all the info you posted on my screen.  Those numbers are like Greek to me.  Thanks for you help.

LJW

sorry--I copied from Texas Railroad commission website...it is a pretty marginal gas well producing from the jURASSIC --i THINK COTTON VALLEY--PRODUCING ABOUT 500 mcf/DAY CURRENTLY;

IN OCTOBER 2010 SALES: 18,310 MCF AND IN NOVEMBER 2010 15,337 MCF

GO TO THIS LINK: AND THE MIDDLE BOX

http://webapps.rrc.state.tx.us/PR/publicQueriesMenuSubmitAction.do

AND THE "OPERATOR NUMBER" IS-518265

CHECK PENDING FOR THE MONTHS OF OCTOBER 2010 AND THEN FOR NOVEMBER 2010

So why was it reported on E T drilling report as being 1.148 mil cubic ft on a 14/64 inch choke.  Was that cumulative since they started reporting.  What exactly does this mean for us?  Thanks.

LJW

OFTEN TIMES REPORTED TESTS ARE NOT THE SAME RATE THAT A WELL CAN CONSISTENTLY FOR THE MONTH.  REPORTED TESTS ARE RUN OVER A FEW HOURS AND NOT FOR DAYS.  I WOULD IMAGINE BUT I DO NOT KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THE REPORTED TEST RATE WAS 1148 MCF/DAY WHICH WOULD BE A MONTHLY RATE OF 30,000 MCF/MO WAS NOT SUSTAINABLE FOR A FULL 30 DAYS OVER THE MONTH SINCE  THE REPORTED SALES VOLUME FOR MONTH OF OCTOBER WERE THE 18357 AND THEN DROPPED

AND NOVEMBER 15337 MCF.

IT MEANS THAT THIS IS A PRETTY MARGINAL WELL.
