I'm in Northern EBR Parish. I was lied to by Amoco back in the mid 90's. I signed with them after being told that they wanted to drill AC. Three years later CHK came in and wanted to re-enter a well that had been drilled to WX in 85 on my property and deepen it to Chalk. Amoco sat on me and waited CHK out. In the past 2-3 years Kirk has told me that Amoco had no intentions of drilling AC at that time. So they held me out of the market for a very low bonus and rental. So I'm skeptical of anything told to me by anyone in the industry that's doing leasing.

I had a friend call me yesterday and say he had been contacted by a Landman interested in leasing a small tract that he owns South of Clinton. The offer is $200.00 an acre for a 3 year lease. He said, "That seems low". Anybody have any calls recently? And what are the offers?
Bluff Creek area. If you look on Kirk's map of the area there is a square block (maybe a unit???) shown in what appears to be the area that this guy has property in. Is there a TMS unit already formed in the Bluff Cheek area?
