Can someone tell me where this well is and anything about it? It appears to be, from what I know, in the central to southern part of the parish. It was just permitted this month. But, at 10000', is it in the Haynesville Shale?

Muddobber, the permitted TVD for this well (Ser # 238113) was 7050'. The four production packers would likely represent 4 stages in this Austin Chalk horizontal completion rather than four separate zones.

Good luck on the well test results.
Thanks Les B. This is the latest reporting information I have seen and it was posted on the Sabine County site.

10/01/2008 well status 05 measured depth 6545 SET CMT PLUG @ 6700' W/ 223 SX, SET PLUG @ 5700' W/ 219 SX; KICKED OFF; BLDG CURVE

10/09/2008 well status 05 measured depth 8043 DRILLING LATERAL

10/16 production report for Donner etal #1:
TD 10-9-08; RAN 4 1/2 FROM 6108-9489'--4 PRODUCTION PACKERS

So, I guess they are testing four zones in the Austin Chalk to see if they can extend the production life of the well?
Thanks for the info Sandstone and Les B, for the TVD and the other testing info, yes Les B, I agree with you on the testing of the 4 different stages in the Austin Chalk, now that I know the TVD, and other info you and Sandstone gave me. Thanks lanny8 also for the info on the well at corner of 191 and 392. I got a call on that well to agree for lease agreement, but they never got back to me, it was just before all drilling ativitity shut down in 2000. in this area anyway, I live about 2 miles from that well.
Thanks sandstone for the info on the leasing I will check it out.

I sure am glad to have joined this site, everyone on here has gave some good info, and that is how we all get to keep up on what is going on, I go by the Donner well at least 1 time every 2 days, going to my Dads.

I know they are testing the second stage of this well right now, I'll keep everyone updated on anymore info I get. It sure pays to have worked the oilfield all my life, only difference, is when I worked in the gulf, on the rig I had all the information, but out their just like on land rigs, alot was hush hush.

Thanks again all.
is this well complete or still drilling also how far from lake

everyone...
Thanks muddobber. This is good news. I wonder when we will get a production report?
I work for Stallion Production Services as a winch truck driver. We set the tanks and had the F/B from the well. It came back at 600 bbls/hr. when it came online. They had like 30 trucks hauling the f/b to disposals. That's all I can share about the well besides it was a very high pressure well.
Thanks for the information!! That sure sounds like a winner to me!!
Sandstone or Jay, please forgive my ignorance but what is the F/B you refer to in the prvious post?
Thanks.
It is the flow-back water pumped in with the frac job. It is really coming back at a fast pace, a high pressure well.
