We are in Section 30 of 9/9 on Hwy 120 half way between Robeline and Marthaville. We've had no offers but it iseems to be moving our way. I contacted someone who pooled a group in our area and initially he seemed interested but never got back with me. I think it would be a good idea to start organizing ourselves and see how many acreas we can pool. Any one else interested?

A group is being put together in the Rocky Mount Church area. Some of the land is in Sabine and some is in Natchitoches. Anyone interested, I'll let them know for sure day/time
10-4 I'll try to come. Let me know date/time
Any news on the date and time for the Rocky Mount meeting?
We met this past Friday @ the Rocky Mount church. We had about 3,000 acres represented @ this meeting. Some owners were from Natchitoches and some from Sabine. The meeting went well and we are going to working on getting as many acres as we can and then proceed. Please pass this along to any landowners in the Rocky Mount/Cedar Grove area. You can reach me @ khale@bankmontgomery.com.
Not sure where Rocky Mount and Cedar Grove area is, but we have 63 acres on Preston Hayes rd. We are interested in pooling with our nearby neighbors if someone forms a meeting. If someone can direct me with some info it would be appreciated. We live near Shreveport , so we are dependant on this forum. Thanks.
Denise, Rocky Mount and Cedar Grove areas are west of Robeline just off La 120, primarily on the east side of Sabine parish. Not too far from Preston Hayes rd. as the crow flies

The Goat Hill group has joined the larger Rocky Mount group headed up by Ken Hale. He is a landowner in our area and is not charging for his services. Mr Murchinson Sr will review our leases. He estimates the standard lease based on his hourly rate to be about $500 per landowner. If you would like more information about this group, please contact Kyle Smith at(318) 471-1822 or Paige Smith at (318) 664-1867. The joining of our groups happened very quickly and we are still trying to contact the members of the Goat Hill group to encourage them to join the larger Rocky Mount group. I feel this was a great move and I am hopefull that we see some nice bonus money. No meetings are scheduled at this time but I will pass along any that I hear about.
Mr Murchinson is a good attorney. I just finished using him on a land issue.

KAS N1,
What section, townships, and ranges are included in your group???? I am in T9 R8 and might be interested.

Thanx,
Punkr
As far as I know the land is mainly in T8R10, T9R10, T8R9 and T9R9 but please give them a call if you are interested.
Kas N1,

Do you happen to know the total acerage of the group after goat hill was added?
The last number I heard was 9,200 acres and growing every day. To me it looks like a great group. I encourage anyone who may be interested to call and talk with them.
