YLO, I finally got a hold of the right people at Chesapeake. Section 17, T16N, R15W started production to sales on 11/29/2009 at 8.4 Mmcf with a more recent natural decline to 6.3 Mmcf. I asked about the choke and they tried to tell me "580". When I told them that I expected choke data in x/64ths she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. So we may have to wait for Sonris to catch up to see just how throttled the well is and other data like pressure. Not a Petrohawk barnburner but…

YLO, I've been calling Chesapeake Owner Relations for the last several days to no avail. I'll post if and when I can get some answers out of them. Section 16 began drilling just before Christmas. I imagine they'll come back to 8 soon all of which are on us. Amazing how many of us there are in the greater Simpson tree!

Bringing a well on with a lower(relatively speaking) IP may help to maintain a higher average rate of production for a longer period of time, resulting in a higher EUR. The lower production rate may help to avoid reservoir damage and to maintain reservoir pressure better over a longer time.
