I thought the attached G-1 and G-5 would be interesting to some folks.  G-1 has the completion information - looks like acid fracs and therfore the target is the limestone formations.

24 hour production is 479 bbl of 42.8 API gravity condensate or oil.  1179 bbls of water with that.  Note this is a vertical completion across multiple, thick zones.

Maybe I need to get Joe Aldrige to look at this, but it looks more like what he describes as TMS rather than Eagle Ford Shale.  Any other thoughts?

Does anybody have in for on the Abbey Road well? Also seen there is a new pipe/equipment yard built near Pearson Chapel on cr 3375. Anybody have anything...thanks

Nothing to report. However, Zaza did just release some well results.  http://finance.yahoo.com/news/zaza-energy-announces-east-texas-1200...

The Colburn #3H (API 471-30374) has achieved 24-hour peak production of approximately 808 boe/d (with NGLs), which includes 70 b/d of 53 API oil, 2,860 mcf/d of natural gas, and 262 NGLs b/d. Over the first 30 days of production, average three-stream production for the Colburn #3H was approximately 585 boe/d, consisting of about 250 b/d of liquids and 2,021 mcf/d of natural gas. It is currently producing on a 54/64 choke. Natural gas production has been flowing to sales via pipeline since January 1, 2015, and NGL amounts are estimated based on 1,208 mmbtu gas. The well is flowing up casing, and the Company expects production to improve upon installing tubing to achieve the velocity needed to lift the fluids.

During completion operations on the Colburn #3H its 4,960' horizontal lateral was fracture stimulated in 26 separate stages with a moderate sized frac including 1,296 lbs of sand per foot of lateral. ZaZa will be proposing higher sand volumes per foot to improve production on future wells. To date 40% of the frac load has been recovered.

Thanks for this summary - for obvious reasons, ZaZa did not report that their JV partner / operator (EOG) is actively looking to divest of their acreage position in this area based on information that they were distributing at the recent NAPE conference in Houston.

In addition, they are looking to divest their entire position in Anderson and Cherokee Counties to the north.

Drilling has started up again in Houston and Madison Counties. EOG is on the Three Amigos #3H in Madison, E & E is on the Shelly #401 (Hous) and Bright Horizon Tx is on the County Road #1H (Hous).

I hope everyone survived the floods without undue hardship. Y'all haven't checked in lately.

Thanks for the update jffree, hoping for lots more drilling in the Austonio area :)

Both those H Co wells are SE of Austonio but 4 or 5 miles out toward the county line.

Jffree do you know who is drilling the well for EOG and Bright Horizon?

Lucky,

EOG is using H&P rig 429. BH has Patterson rig 628.

Crockett Fire Department is looking to buy a new "Jaws of Life" unit.  I know its Off topic, but should be a welcome addition to the edge of the eaglebine.

And it keeps the longest running discussion thread going toward 100,000 views and 100 pages.  Impressive. :-)
