Thanks, George.  Now we will have to rely on first person reports for completion ops.

I'll be able to report the trucks going in and out.  Arent the short red tank trucks fracing trucks?

The trucks hauling water for completion ops are usually full size trucks with cylindrical tanks or the specialty water haulers that have the rectangular, boxy looking tanks.  Colors vary.  The red trucks could be pressure pumping rigs from Halliburton or some other service company.  When completion ops begin there will be a small crane supporting a tall "frac tree" on the wellhead.  There will be pumping units, mixing units and material supply units ( water and sand).

There are a number of images in the GHS photo Gallery.  Here is a link to one:

Ive seen numerous red Halliburton small tank trucks on the hwy. Wasnt sure what part they had but havent seen any headed to the SLC.

There will be police escorts the next few days escorting trucks in and out, likely to get the rig out and maybe get some larger pieces for completion in

The small tank trucks are probably mixing units.  The water trucks will be bigger.

Does anyone know the vertical depth of the SLC? Is it the deepest well yet in the TMS?

It appears so to me, Steve.  Deeper by ~400' than the GDP Beech Grove 94H #1.  We'll need to see the TVD on the completion report to know for sure.

Thanks. I am guessing from the maps that it is near 13,500 ft.

SLC TVD ~13796', could be closer to 14000'.  Beech Grove TVD ~13375 could be around 13500'.  It's tougher to speculate since GDP has changed the way they build their curves.

"13,500"

Should be the target depth or more for the Walker thats about 2 1/2 miles to the east and the Morris and SD Smith to the north in Wilkinson Co.

Anxious to see if the areas they say are more gassier prove to be worth drilling so deep

A higher GOR makes a better well as long as the liquids volume doesn't drop too much.  I'm sure operators would prefer not to have to put wells on artificial lift so early in production.
