XTO is starting to offer new leases for expiring leases just south of Revolver.
That's good news for those folks.
Did you hear any news about whatever happened with Abbey Road?
I see that the Scan Patriot is 7+ weeks into Cook 2H for Devon.
I would assume its on schedule to be fraced/completed at some point, and that it was probably not happening when Snoppy was flying around hunting red barron at revolver. I suspect that Snoopy probably did a flyby on Abbey Road and did not find anything. Can anyone confirm with Snoopy?
Appears they are contacting all the people that leased in 2008 but not offering too much more than they did in 2008 for this entire Pennington area. Those people need to research what has been said on this web site about getting a good lease. XTO really takes their time though shooting it back supposedly to their legal dept.

We will do. ;-)
Lucky,
It would not be out of the ordinary to frac two nearby wells at different times - re: abbey Road and Revolver. Its actually pretty common to frac a well, figure out what its going to do, and then frac the next one with whatever lessons learned.
regarding Penny Lane - Anyone know if those leases expired? I'm guessing that the amount of time and money spent on Abbey Road and Revolver pushed the drilling schedule back some, particularly until after at least some evaluation of the wells.
Lucky,
TOO early to get cold feet ------ must wait and see how the IP turns out on theses 3 wells ------ New leasing activity is a GOOD sign that they liked what they saw in the electric log and core samples of Revolver etc.
Snoopy will probably make a photo run Saturday - 27JAN, or Sunday, over XTO's Revolver, Abby Road & Penny Lane drill sites. When 19JAN13 Revolver site photos were posted, there was no new activity on Abby Road site.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
