I am 4 miles ENE of the Kardell and have been wondering the same. There seems to be a lot of seismograph activity out this way lately.
Q is your land included in the seismograph activity? How do you know? You would have signed papers
authorizing the study. Then you will be paid $15. and acre. You will never know the results of the study unless you become friendly with the workers or pay their fee for a copy of the study.. If your results are positive you can be sure Devon, Crimson and others in the venture will contact you. If not and the sismo people have vacated your land then you need to contact the Devon group. Don't take the first offer. The sismo work will probably be done by seitel Data and sub contracted to Diversified Land Management.
Pops Ferg,
Is Seitel Data and/or Diversified Land Management the only company performing seismic studies from San Augustine, the town, north up to the Shelby County Line???
Cheer I do not know, but I was told that San Aug, Shelby, Nachs and Sabine were part of the sismo survey.
But then I was also told they were going to do a 400 mile area. That is not a little far fetched for me, it is a whole lot.
Here's another one. The letter went out in June from the forest service so it's old news but it has a good map of the survey area on the last page:

Thanks Motherload People,
Great information on the Seismic Survey.
Does anyone remember what the initial production was on the St. Mary well in the Davis survey northwest of SA?
I just looked at the press release... but I can't remember anything this late at night. I think it said 1.3 Mmcf.
Thanks Jffree,
James Lime???
