Thanks for the information. I'm green about such matters. I have about 1000 land ach. that have been producing pretty good. But I have notice a stark change in the royalty checks I receive from each company. I am assuming this is normal with gas prices being so low now. I do hope they pick up quickly.

Wildhorse is still running 8 rigs while the TMS is down to 5. The TMS op area is about a million acres. Wildhorse's is less than a tenth of that.

Lol no, just working a lot and nothing new to comment on for a long time, lol had to say something about the Stovall IP.

I will say those Wildhorse wells are the real deal! Amazing, it's a shame oil has collapsed.

Don't get excited about the Stovall well, they can barely keep it glowing and that daily production report is incredibly misleading. It's doing nothing close to that

Conventional reservoirs have been the traditional formations producing oil and gas for one hundred years. An unconventional reservoir has sufficient permeability to allow hydrocarbons to migrate over distance to a well bore and therefore can be produced from a vertical well. Conventional reservoirs are not continuously productive over an extensive area. Since there is sufficiently permeability there is no need to perform the kind of hydraulic fracture stimulation (frac) required for tight formation especially shale (unconventional reservoirs). Acidizing is a common practice for completing a well in certain kinds of rock.

In sandstone formations, the acid reacts with the soluble substances in the formation matrix to enlarge the pore spaces. In carbonate formations, the acid dissolves the entire formation matrix. In each case, the matrix acidizing treatment improves the formation permeability to enable enhanced production of reservoir fluids. Matrix acidizing operations are ideally performed at high rate, but at treatment pressures below the fracture pressure of the formation. This enables the acid to penetrate the formation and extend the depth of treatment while avoiding damage to the reservoir formation.
