Mark, thanks for the heads up. I will be on the look out for the well test information. I hope it does make it on my "super well" list.

Les,
Sonris has well serial #240505 with a well allowable of 22300 Mcfd, but nothing stated in the report section about completion data or anything on the Shreveport scout details printout for this week.
Production info I have from Encana states 600622 Mcf for the month of June.
Might be another one to add to the Super Haynesville list..... Hope so as my family and I have land in that section in RRP and it would be nice to say we had part of a 'Super' well. Even if it doesn't make the list,…

thanks Les. I hear info from the workers, BUT, until I see it in writing, I don't want to get my hopes up.

KCM, companies make press releases for very few wells so Sonris is still my primary source. I will let you know if I see a test rate for your well.

I need info on Sec. 7 of 14n 14w Desoto. Supposedly it came in at 20mcfd on July 5 and continued to flow at that the month of July because of its high pressure. It then was supposedly reduced to 16mcfd first wk of Aug. That was last I heard. It may be months before it gets on Sonris. thanks

Les, do you wait until Sonris posts the well production before you add it to your list or do you have a way of finding out production before it goes on Sonris

KJ, operators are experimenting with number of stages, size of stages, cluster spacing, etc to find the optimum design for each area.

Increasing the number of stages may or may not icrease the flow rate depending on other factors such as size of each stage, etc.

interesting to see the variety in the number of frac stages. just in the top 5 or 6, it varies between 12 and 20. if the ones that had 12 frac stages had done additional stages, would that have increased the well flow? or do operators push it as far as they can without causing damage to the formation? meaning each well has individual needs? does anyone have insight into what the process is for designing a frac job?
