LOL...It would me nice to see some production in the area...that isn't declining...and isn't salt water.

Yes it would be great to get a few good wells

Bob and David, just be prepared they all make water and decline.

As the old saying goes, "Life sucks, and then you die".

On the other hand, there's another old saying, "Drill, Baby, Drill".

I'm not in favor of either.  How about, "Reasonable Expectations Don't Disappoint When Proven Wrong Nearly As Much as Unreasonable Ones".  Or, "Too Much Exuberance Brings Increased Disappoint When The Eggs Don't Hatch".  Or, how about one based on the patch, "One Dry Hole Will Temper Your Expectations For At Least The Next Ten Years".

Guys, feel free to suggest your own.  :-)  And for frame of reference go to the TMS group page and read through those discussions.

“There Will Be Blood.”

Hope not.  LOL!

Try, try, try again.
If at first you don't succeed,
Try, try, try again"--Olde English Proverb

I'm going with Bob's  "Drill Baby Drill" ,  as we await some action in second half of 2018.

Happy Father's Day to all celebrating the day!!!

New well permit in Avoyelles on 6-25, Rabb contractors out of ferriday La.

serial #251110,  MD 5700’

bayou des Lance field

Hydro, if you are just interested in "any" well permitted in Avoyelles, that's fine but this well is permitted to 5700' and has nothing to do with the AC.

Understood,  just wondering if Wilcox or some other shallow play vs a SWD.
