Devon is presently finishing up two well units (for certain, could be more) in Sabine County. One is up in the "point" at the Shelby Co. line and the other is on the San Augustine Co. line (presume west of Bronson because of the interest they showed in that area but could be further south). Look for the permits soon.

When queried about their interest in surveys eastward (at/near the lake) they replied that they know it's (HS) over there and they can come back to those areas later. "What we don't know is how far south and west it is. That's what we want to know right now". My source says this came from someone in the DJ Energy office in Hemphill direct to him the last time he visited with them. I'll post the surveys as soon as I can find out exactly where the units are, but that info may not be available until the permits show up on RRC GIS Map.

Mineral Rights Seminar, Sept. 23
Judon Fambrough, Texas A&M Real Estate Dept. will speak on Texas mineral rights, lease process, lease terms we need to know.
According to John Toner, Sabine County Extension Service Agent, the seminar will be at the San Augustine County Fairgrounds with Bar-B-Q from 5-6 PM and the seminar will be from 6 til 9 or 9:30 PM.
You should call John Toner (409-787-3752) or the San Augustine County Agent (I'm sorry, I don't have the name or phone # yet) to express your interest in attending (get on the list) and you will pay at the door.
Registration fee is $15.00 per person and will include the BBQ. Make checks payable to Sabine County 4H Horse Club.
It is also posted under "EVENTS" on the main page.

Has anyone leased south of Hwy 103?
Or west of 1592?
What offers have been made in this area?
