Willis Bodine,

I started a new discussion about Aethon extended laterals & production sharing agreements by pasting your comment. I hope you don't mind.

Has anyone else heard from Aethon lately about their plans to extend more horizontal wells on existing leases in San Augustine County?  I have received proposed Production Sharing Agreements for my three leases, and it all sounds very promising.

Yeah, what's goin on here? I guess with the price where it is there's nothing to talk about. I was told late last year that XTO was gonna drill on the past my property was in. I can't find a link to the railroad commission site to look up the name of the well that I was given.

San Augustine is Dead Silent.

Martha,

There is a James Lime well permitted on the Gobi Unit and Crimson has just recently made two pretty decent oil wells on their Fairway Farms (537.0 bbl & 0.968 Mcf) and  Kodiak (819.0 bbl & 2.232 MMcfd) Units. Gobi is further west and north of either of those locations so there's no guarantee it will make an oil well... but you never know. You might want to hold on to those minerals for a little while.

Has anyone else been getting offers from other companies wanting to buy their mineral and royalty interest on the Gobi Wells lately? They have even sent drafts for me to sign. ! So far I have had about. 4 different offers all from different companies !

The EnCana wells in San Augustine all have XTO as operator on production reports now. Just notice it today so I don't know when the change happened.

Does anyone know anything about Crimson Exp's Gobi 1 well in San Augustine?  Is it choked down alot because of low gas prices, or just playing out?
