Most sections have more than one company holding leases. I think all three of your sections will be developed. As to when, well probably before the majority of acres under lease reach expiration. Call both Chesapeake and Petrohawk, it never hurts to ask. You may or may not get a definitive answer. I suggest you go to the SONRIS Help Center Group page here on GHS and learn how to search the database for drilling permits.

Cliff, Section 18 is a Petrohawk Haynesville Drilling Unit but Sections 17 & 20 are Chesapeake Units.

Looking for a little advice as to who to contact at Petrohawk to see if our leased property is on the schedule for drilling. Anyone have any recommendations? Seems were at a good location: Township 16 North, Range 10 West Sections 17, 18 & 20

Ann Walker,
If you look in Sunday's Shreveport Times, under "Oil and Gas News," you'll see that Petrohawk filed a permit for the well in 13-16-15. Congrats.

Ann,
I don't believe a drilling permit has been filed yet. But Petrohawk has unitized that section.

Is Petrohawk preparing to drill in Sec 13-T16N-R15W --off Colquit Rd?
Comment by Henry on September 24, 2010 at 23:26
Penny,
According to sonris, the well is done. The latest entry, dated 8/20/2010 says, "PERF 12,880-17,422'; TURN TO SALES." It does not provide any production figures.
