SONRIS questions for Carrie

There is a lot of work to do on all aspects of the SONRIS database.  Some of that work entails portions of the database that industry uses but most of us do not.  I appreciate Carrie's help to tutor the members to do the searches that they prioritize.  To help in that regard I am starting this discussion thread with some of my suggestions.  Please add any that you may need not covered in the initial list.

How to search for:

            WELL PERMITS

            HEARING DOCKET APPLICATIONS/FIELD ORDERS

            UNIT SURVEYS

            HC WELL ALLOCATIONS BY UNIT

            INDIVIDUAL HC WELL PRODUCTION

One of the best features of the old SONRIS was being able to input only the township and range and pull up all the wells listed by section.  I taught many members to do that and it is especially important since wells producing from one section can have the surface location in another section.  It is also helpful in my work in order to see when early wells produced or are continuing to produce when I am researching old O&G leases.  Can we do that in the new SONRIS?

I still do not understand why they had to ruin a perfectly good database site and make is so difficult?  That is my first question for her.

I've been doing some research this week.  I have multiple windows open in order to make it easier to search for field orders associated with a particular lease/well of interest since I cannot seem to locate the/a field order assoicated with a particular well from within the "well search information tab/report".  When I move to other windows, I'm getting a session has expired notice.  Reset will not even work.  So, I find myself having to back all the way out and start the search over again.  By the time I finally make my back to where I was at.  I go to the next window I had open and I receive the same message for that window, "your session has expired".  Is there a way to allow more time than 60 sec between windows expiring the session?  This has been fairly consistent for me.  To overcome the newness, I have found having multiple windows open allows me to better search the things I'm looking for.
