BEUSA is applying to form units in 18N 11W and 17N 10W. Some of these are for Hosston (Travis Peak) Zone, Cotton Valley Zone, and Haynesville Zone. If they form a unit for Cotton Valley, does that mean a different company could form a unit in the same section for Haynesville? If someone owns over half of a section in one of these units and hasn't leased it, can the company drill?
We have property in extreme NE Bossier Parish, TS23, that borders Lafayette county and we are getting some lease offers. This property was continually leased for many years but the past 2 or 3 years it has went unleased. Samson Contour has made the latest offer but I don't know a lot about this company. The land man says they want to drill for natural gas in the Cotton Valley. I would love to get some input and some comments and advice from all the folks on here that are much more knowledgeable than I am. The lease from Samson seems to be the best offer and sounds about right for this area which is unproven aside from some Pettit oil producers in the area. Kieth, Skip, Aubrey, Ted, anyone else jump on in there and give me some help. Thanks
I have a small tract, ~4 acres, in township 20N-14W. Recently been offered $400 per acre for 3 years with an option for 2 more by HEP Energy. There is a royalty of 22.5%. Seems low to me. Does anyone have any experience with them and/or their "standard contract?"
Researching producer activity in East TX/LA including any Bossier activity. Exxon, Valence, BP, El Paso?? Anyone heard of anything? Also if you have heard anything for Cotton Valley (which I know is TX)
Carla, I've never heard of FTC ENERGY LTD. The company is not registered in Louisiana or Texas. Could you provide some basic details on just what they are offering and for what?
One transaction said Delaware Company, One transaction said Wyoming. The last thing showing is a sale from FTC to Atomic Capital. It showed the President of FTC as Rickey E. Vick, II
Rickey Vick is who I spoke with. He made a very nice offer, but they didn’t have a website until AFTER I asked for it & they are not currently in good standing with the Delaware Secretary of State due to taxes being owed. They wanted me to sign a Purchase Agreement, Mineral Deed and letters to current operators BEFORE they do the title work.

They have a few in Caddo Parish also. Most back in 2018. What are the dates on the Bossier mineral deeds, Bobi?
