Did anyone else see these two completed wells reported in the Shreveport Times today? Look at the pressure on the first one, and the production on the second one. I'm not a geologist, but these two look like real winners. Am I right?

I have appx. 5 acres in section 1, T15N-R14W, I know a lot of the people in this section signed a 3 year lease appx three years. I would like to hear from people in this section and see where we stand.--this section is in desoto parish
OK, we just hired an hourly attorney for our group. Based on the fact that I have already done the research, we are doing our own negotiations and we only need the attorney for a few things our group felt it wise not to go with one of the percentage attorneys. Our costs are going to be significantly less this way. Anyway, if anyone wants to join our group for negotiating that has not already contacted me please do so. Word is the companies are interested in larger acreage offerings even if they are not contiguouse. email me @ kassi205@aol.com if you want to discuss joining your group or section or land with ours.
I am in Stonewall and now have received an offer of $18,000 per acre but I have heard of others in Stonewall receiving offers of much higher. I am off of Linwood so those of you over here, at least you know they will offer this much. Good luck in your leasing!
I have 2 areas of land. They are only 1 acre in the Colquitt Road area, and the other is 40 acres in Desoto Parish. The Desoto parish land is allegedly under lease, but no production, or very little has been made to date, so I have an attorney trying to break that lease, and am hopeful that he can. But my question is why there has been no lease activity in the Colquitt Road Estates area. I live on the North side, where the lots are larger, and am perplexed as to why I have not heard anything from anybody, given that alm ost everyone else seems to have.
Hello! I am from San Augustine Tx. My husband and I was coming back from Shreveport a couple of days ago and we went down rd 31 through the texas side to Logansport to get on 84.... Well anyway hope for the best for all of ya'll !!! Take Care! Shelley HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I am in the state of Washington and have mineral rights in De Soto. My brother and I just learned about this a couple years ago when we were contacted by an oil leasing company. Information you share about ANY aspect will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I have been notified that they are making units in 12N 13W, does anyone know how to find out if, and which sections that have planned drilling sites. Thanks for any info,.
Can anyone tell me the status of McCoy #9 H1, Serial #239456 in Section 9, T11-N-R15W and McCoy #16 H1, Serial #236760, Section 16, T11N-R15W? It appears that they are erecting rig on 9. Signage has been attached to gate off Roberts Road for McCoy 16 H1. Thanks.
Bill, do you ever check Les B.'s Drilling Rig Group Page? If you wish to know the drilling contractor for a particular well, that is where you are most likely to find it.
My family owns a 40 acre tract in Desoto Parish, on the Southern Banks of Wallace Lake. Have to find out the exact location from my uncle. Anyone heard of any activity in this area. By the way, he has had the property leased out over the years, and I know that he has hired an attorney to try to break the current lease. Any new would be welcome, Coondaddy
Seems everyone wants something? Why don't the operators and producers know what seismic surveys are? These are industry companies. Their business is Oil and GAS and they ask "what is in it for me?" I would tell them to try to shoot their on survey and then they would know. This is hi-dollar scientific stuff. These surveys happen all over the world for the benefit of the producers and that benefits the mineral owner and the operator. I can't believe some of the stuff I hear from independents and individuals. I say pay your own way. When the seismic crews finish and leave big holes all in the dataset we will let these individuals who would not permit the survey because they wanted 30 dollars rather than 20 dollars per acre, contract to get their own survey. When they find out that it takes about 15 square miles of survey to image a 1 square mile area then they will have some kind of idea why the seismic crews "NO PERMIT' a sinceless mineral owner or in most cases a lessee. Truth is seismic companies don't generally pay mineral owners because they need to pay the surface owners for access to the property. These surveys will be made available to people that use the data to drill the locations. If the seismic crews could get the jobs done the producers could do what they got to do. Some are doing what they HAVE to do to keep leases but they still want to do what they NEED to do so all of you can get something for nothing. Just a lucky bunch of welfare recipients that want more for nothing. Its coming. More than you could imagine in any percentages. Sure some will get more some will get less and maybe the greedy will run our quicker than the others.

More re: seismic. Just a note from another area to emphasize the importance of seismic.
"(An Energy Corp. has completed an extensive review on the a recent 3D prospect in Br County, Oklahoma. The review consisted of detailed 3D seismic data and geological interpretation with consulting specialists and the operator, RPetroleum,. As a result, the company and its working interest partners have identified 40 drill targets and have committed to a two-well drilling program.)"
If you don't get onboard with these surveys then you will not have seismic data on your AOI.
We have been told that there will be 4 wells to start in our Section of 640
acres. Will we be paid on each well X number of acres? Please explain the math for me. Thank you.

A friend of mine thought it would be a beautiful site to see a helicopter flight over DeSoto Parish at Night. All the rigs lit up and all. You think you could make that happen, KEITH?
Skip, thank you. We sold our house and moved to Texas but kept our mineral rights. We received notice about the units and also about running a seismic, but since we live out of state, we're not sure what's happening. Thanks so much.
Does anyone know the going price for a lease in Desoto Parish. The current lease on my property will soon expire and I am allready receiving call from different companies intrested in leasing. I initally leased two months befored the news of HA shale broke, I don't want to be taken again.
Jo Ann, there is no such thing as the "going price" in DeSoto or any other parish at this time. By this I mean that offers vary widely depending on specifics. Size of mineral tract(s), location, potential for surface use, proximity to producing wells or development activity, competition between companies, etc. If anyone gives you a "going price" without asking the details of your mineral estate be very wary. The actual worth could be much higher.
I would like to say hello to everyone, and i hope everyone are doing ok in these ruff times. i would like to know, if anyone has any up date on the activity of a well that is located at sec23,t11north,r13 west.. i would appreciate any information that you can give me. Thank You Woody
Hello, edward. The CHK LA MINERALS 23H drilled to Total Depth (TD) of 16,744' as reported on 121-11-09. That's the last status reported to the state. The well is probably waiting on completion or in completion operations now.
