Does anyone have any idea if there is going to be any more activity in the Clever Creek/Neuville area (east of Hwy. 96 South and off of FM 417)?
Supposedly, there are companies that are supposed to be doing seismic work in that area......Does anyone know whether that seismic work has begun? I understand that they are looking into the Haynesville Shale depth. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
Also, who are the players in the area? My understanding is that XTO Energy and Chesapeake are the main players. I also heard that Chesapeake may be sold to Exxon. Is that true?
I watch Cramer on Mad Money in the evening and he has information every once in a while concerning the Natural Gas situation ..... However, I've not heard him mention the Haynesville Shale Play in quite a while. He had the CEO of Anadarko on this week. Was interesting.....the CEO thinks there is a strong belief that Natural Gas will be very important in the energy sector even if there are not Natural Gas Cars....He said that there is a lot of other areas that will be needing Natural Gas.
Let's all hope and pray that this is true. Hey, I'd like to retire.....the sooner the better.

Yikes, I'm trying not to be on pins and needles! I wish I could be there to hear the word on the streets in Center. Given the banter on the net, I can't help but feel something has popped, and just not released to the public yet. Seems that there has been plenty of time passed for getting drilled. Now I read that Harvey #1 has just been connected to the pipeline. So are the landman getting released in a rush to get people signed at low amonts, before the info is release to the public and we can ask for higher dollars? Does anyone else feel that some big news is coming any day now?

Three Most Active Texas Counties For Haynesville Shale
Shelby, Sabine, San Augustine counties are seeing alot of exploration activity as to the Haynesville shale.Rumor has it that Chesapeake and Petrohawk have drilled in Shelby county 2 excellant wells horizontal in the Haynesville shale. The information has not been officially reported, but should be soon.Crimson has made a public statement that the James Lime section cored in the well they are drilling now in San Augustine with Devon as the operator was very promising. This well is located due east of City limits of San Augustine, Texas. All of the stacked pay zones that are present, makes these 3 counties very popular. Its looking like a mirror to the Barnett shale moving south more and more as drilling continues. IP's are probably going to increase as time goes on in these counties. There will be alot more rigs moving to these 3 counties very soon. The boom is on now!

Renee, There are four A.D. Keller surveys. Need an abstract number to find the right one. In the H. Thomas, A-722 there is one permit for a vertical well to 7600', Maximus Operating approved 4-1-09. None producing or plugged (on the GIS map).
