we are from San Augustine, and lord we are just as confuse as your are.... We have 30 acres South on 705.. People areound us have already sign for $1000.00 per acres.. Really don't know how good of a deal they got, since rumors are that people in this are a getting alot more. If you hear anthing about this area please cont. me.... We have been talking with someone to represent us wtih the oil folks not sure if thats the way we want to go..... Our family has mineral rights on about 230 acres.

went down to Encana today.. our land is in there zone//// they want to lease it for $5ooo.oo per acres and one fourth royalities.. three year conmtract.

what survey are you in? I am sure you have told me but forgot...... i was looking in the railroad commission of texas and found our area , so i am trying to see where everyone is located.

you go down 705 and cross 83 and con't on 705 thiswill carry you to powel park. If you go to railroad commisson of texas and find where to go into San Augustine look under the abstract surveys #40..it wil show you this place ... there are alot of pipe line , but i think its oil wells....

Yes I did. I am trying to find out what has happen.. Our lawyer was suppose to meet with Jay Evans today , the man from Encana still waiting to hear how it came out... I called and left a message and told her what Encana said to your Uncle. I just wonder if they meant they were not taking in anymore , not the ones who alread gave them information... As of today, we haven't heard anything. I fired out emails to Chesapeake, XTO, & Petrohawk out of boredom. I got a response from Chesapeake's Houston office that they forwarded my info to SA landman yesterday & he would contact me. Haven't had a call yet... I counted 36 approved drilling permits in 2008 for SA county w/ 3 pending. It's only a matter of time ....
