Keith,Joe Dyer here. How are you doing? Hope everythingsO.K. I have a question for you. A real good friend of mine who owns some land in south Bossier Parish( Cooterville ) I'm trying to find out for him who is in charge of R.O.W. pipelines for Petrohawk. He is having a hard time finding out who that person is and he knows a lot of people. If you can help us find out we sure would appreciate it. You can go to my site or E-Mail me at JDyer80464@aol.com with some info on this, we would be grateful,Thank You,Joe.

I know some of the landholders around me and email them occasionally. So, yes I should be able to attract some people. I'm a good researcher, so I could find ways to reach out.

Keith, Just FYI, I only discovered the Freestone County Group last week while browsing through all of the Groups. Were any Group Invites sent out for this one?

  • jffree1

Keith, Regarding Freestone County Group, it occurs to me that there are four counties (Freestone, Limestone, Robertson, Leon) which seem to be their own play. While it is Bossier, they generally lump the Cotton Valley, Bossier & Cotton Valley Lime all together in fields. The Bossier out there may contain some shale but it is goining to be primarily Sand(stone) with some shale interspersed (that's what I get from my reading, anyhow).
You might consider putting these four counties together and call it something like Central Texas "Tight Gas" Play. You are basically getting away from the Haynesville Shale when you get that far west, I think. Lots of gas, though.

Thank you so much, Keith. This site is a brilliant combination of facts and curiosity and knowledgeable input and a little fun. Your effort in building this resource is stellar! Thank you for your vision.

ty, Keith! my goal is to see how the Haynesville's affect will change the climate for not only those in e tx and n la, but how this impacts the gulf, henry hub, fayetteville area and the global perspective as it relates to energy.

    Keith,

Sorry to bother you. I follow the Natchitoches Network. It seems the last few times I have logged in and seen recent activity (hours old) I cannot find the activity. The most recent is always days old. Is there a way to find out where the activity is posted?
  • Steve Bacle

    Keith,

Thanks for setting up the site. I enjoy hearing about shale happenings. Are you doing all this from VA? I am over in Stafford.

I have land in Red River, Natchitoches, and Desoto. I am waiting the drillers and the price of gas to go up. I may have some lease action in Natchitoches soon.

Keith, you have a really excellent and informative site here - surprisingly so.
The Marcellus shale play is just over a year old here in N.E. PA with only a dozen or so wells drilled. The wells are deep, the shale lying under hard rock, but amazingly productive. It's taken everyone quite by surprise and we are all in the process of learning. The operators have come up from Texas and West Virginia and are all well experienced. Now it's up to us to catch up. Your site is one way of doing so. Thank you

    Sir Keith,
Thank you so very much for allowing me to be a member of your great web site. I am a Tool Maker - Machinest and with the prints and proper machines could probably build a drilling rig. However beyond that, all I knew about them was that they drilled a hole in the ground and sometimes found what they were hunting. Thanks to your site I now have a much better understanding of what is actually involved. Thank you to all of you people who share your knowledge. Sir Keith I wish you well, and many happy birthdays.

Hello Keith. I've just signed up and am new to this game! Our family has owned property in Webster Parish just outside Minden for three generations. Since the older generation is dying out, we are now the ones who will have to negotiate with the oil companies making offers for oil/mineral leases. I'm not sure the previous leases were good offers since my generation was never part of the process.
Where can I get accurate information on the going lease and royalty rates for property in Webster Parish?
Thanks in advance for your help! This is a wonderful site!
  • spanky arsement

Hi keith my name is Spanky Arsement I have signed on to your site. I own a machine shop in Lafayette La. and Pearland Tx. with a total of 60,000 sq. ft. of manufactoring space we specilize in downhole completion tools. My interest in this site is to obtain a list of service companies doing work in the area to contact and possibly earn work from them. Can you help or direct me? Thanks in advance.

  • Lorissa Gail

Thank you so much for the work you do on this site and your commenting back to me! Is there a place on this site that explains salt water disposal needs of gas wells ? I am trying to determine what "establilshing and utilizing facilities for disposition of salt water" means for the long term.

    Thanks

I have a suggestion for the Arkansas Group page. Would it be possible to replace the map of the entire state with one that shows the SW corner of the state? One with a scale that would show counties and key towns?
  • Fred Hiatt

Im an investment broker for one of the many sellers of rights. He recieved 7mill for his fraction sell of rights. Im in Tennessee and have limited info. What price will gas need to be for activity to begin? BTW inform folks to take proceedes to buy Tax Free bonds....

I own the minerals on 375 acres at Montrose in Natchitoches Parish
Hwy 1 about 17 miles south of Natchitoches. There was a well drilled there about 15 years ago to 17,000 ft. How I can get the geology of the well and someone to look at it.
  • Oren P. Purcell

  • Louzanne

    Hey Keith....
I am so sorry to be so tardy in getting back to you concerning your request concerning Celeste. I finally connected with Kathleen last week and she said for Celeste to call Yarborough's to make sure Jennifer is there, as she is the one of whom to speak. She said eventually Yarborough's will need someone, its just a matter of time. Kathleen will have knee surgury and will be out for sometime as well. That will be sometime this month. We have been gone so much, and for a while I couldn't reach Kathleen, but I had lunch with her and other friends last week and told her about Celeste. I hope I am not to late with the info and that it helps. Let me know if anything developes.
    Regards.........
