Hello! I hope the site is a place for to learn, network and contribute. My name is Keith and I started the site in June of 2008 to open up lines of communication between landowners. We now have over 10,000 members.
I don't know about CHK. If counties to the north are any indication it could be fall before they do anything but I hope they move sooner than that. We need some excitement down here!
This new smackover well forest is doing leads to some real mystique to our areas(7-17-13-W) because that could be more than dry gas. The hall well may confirm that. The smackover gives up condensate and gas. Just my thoughts...not going to mention this on discussions...the sergant at arms would get me. thanks, Ken $$$
Not entirely sure what Devon is doing but you sure cannot discount them, my concern is on the Patterson 543 well (OLYMPIA) It is 4 miles North of my underwater stuff. Kinda think I am going to be in fair shape with a little luck!
AL, saw your discussion on Haynesville LIME. Not sure what the maps will eventually look like, but my own hunch is that the lime will end up being a big deal.
The area in NW Shelby where our minerals are located has had pretty poor well results, including Devon's recent HA completion with their Adams 1-H which only came in at 1.5 mmcfd. Our minerals are right next door to that well and yet Devon still pushed to get our lease done AFTER they had these unimpressive numbers from the Adams well.
While negotiating the depth clause for our lease, Devon was adamanent that the HA Lime be included in the lease. Makes me think that the Lime is really their main target for the area.
