    Keith,

It would be nice to have the "Main" page link reinstated at the top of the pages. It really makes navigating GHS much easier.

    Thanks

  • Martha McWhiney

    Hi Keith,

Bill Johnson's photo is not loading and is hanging up the "Who's Online". Just thought you would want to know. When he is online the little circle keeps circling. It does not affect the site other than that. It seems like that was maybe one of the problems with the complaints last week.

    Keith,

It appears that the RRC is near a decision on the Parker County water well issue.  I would be happy to do a bit of a write up if you think it is of interest to your readers.

Keith,  I read a reply in the Shelby County section from "Alamo" to "Laurie" that really sums up the what, when, where and why of natural gas and a national energy policy.  I think it would be great if The Haynesville Shale website created a plan of  "How America can become energy independent by the increased use of natural gas" and then made it available to all members asking them to distribute it to all of their contacts.

Keith keep up the good work. We own land in Sikes( Winn and Jackson line.) Are there anything going on  in that area?

  • Sarah

    Hi Keith,

I hope your new baby is doing well. :)

Have you heard of this movie, Atlas Shrugged? I had not. Here is a very short clip of a review if you want to check it out. I wanted to pass the link on to fellow shalers here in case they hadn't heard of it either.  I just don't know where to post it? It's off topic to natural gas but I don't want it to get buried somewhere. I know a lot of people avoid the combative component in the Politics group, but maybe it should go there?  It just came out recently and I haven't had a chance to go, but I can tell it's significant and so apprapo and fitting with the struggles we are in as a country right now! This is a review  by Cal Thomas.

Keith, any luck getting Aubrey Sanders' account restored.  The South Arkansas and North LA. groups are languishing without him.
  • Sarah

    Thanks so much, Keith.

  • L D H

Would you consider a group for the Barnett Shale?  I noticed you have an Eagle Ford Group.  There might just be a few of us interested, but I would certainly be one of them.
  • Renee Rains

Keith, when I try to click on the read more section about what's going on with Encana  it tells me this page is not available .  How can I  read more about this?
  • La Bonne`Chance

    Dear Keith,

Is cross well development and allocationof production in the best interest of land owner? Swepi/Encana propose that because of Faulting in t13n,r10w,s25,26 , acreage will otherwise may not be developed.  This puts pressure on the land owner to agree to their proposal.

Here to fore a unitized section evenly divided up production based upon exact

    ownership of acreage.

Example of cross unit well development - allocation of production :

    1.  total length of lateral est. 6,425'

    2. section  or unit with 4,452' perforated lateral.

    3. 4,452/ 6,425' = 69.29%

    4. section or unit drilled with perforations 1,973' or 30.71%

My math (poorly skilled as it is) suggests that proposed 69.29% proposed with cross unit development is considerably less to the land owner.

7,500 ' laterally is forcasted for future drilling.  The more lateral length- the more production.

    Perplexed,

    la bonne' chance

    Hi Keith

Did you get my comment regarding "Blessing". It looks like several others have a problem with what I believe is an abuse of this incredible resource that you have provided for us.

    Thanks,

    Ilona

  • Ilona Smith

Sorry, I should have read the comment from Louis befor I sent you the last comment. (and by the way, it is male and female that received them). I got the same msg. from "Peace".

My famly group leased our small interest to Encana back in December.  Our surveys are in San Augustine.  The Surveys are:  DB Sowell A-367 and William White A-308.  I have tried to read any news on Encana in this area but I just can't find any update on any activity on these surveys.  Any info would be appreciated.
  • Cayman Bum

Hi Keith, Someway with my technical incompetence I put water buyers next to Cayman Bum for my title. I have tried to remove it and can't. Can you?!!!  All I was trying to do was sell water! Thank you.
  • Big Iron

    Keith,

When you were dividing up the EFS into regions I replied that you were leaving Zavala county out.  You still are.  And I can't find the posts that were under Eagleford shale anymore.  Where are they?

  • Ilona Smith

    Hi, Keith.

Sorry to bother you again but I appears that the same spam prob has reared it's ugly head once again. This time they are using the name plovemimi.

Thanks for all you do for us!

    Ilona

  • Roger G.

  • Little Red

Could you please explain something for me?  I am a member of the Claiborne Parish group.  Often I see the "Latest Activity"  notice with a current date, but when I try to find a new topic or comment, I find nothing.  There seems to be no way to "click" on to the "Latest Activity".  Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks.

  • Skip Peel - Mineral Consultant

Past experiences have taught me to keep my profile on "tight" settings.
  • jffree1

No... it is set so "Shalers" can view my page.  I have comments set so that I can approve them... or not.
  • The_Baron

I don't know why you can't feature me, I'll look at my settings!
  • candywoman1

Do you have an email address for WildHorse Resources, LLC or a telephone number where I can reach an intelligent person in the Royalty Office?  After they obtained EOG Resources, I received checks for my aunt who passed away in 1997 and my mother who passed away in 1998 when EOG had all of the correct information.

    Thanks for any information

  • Pro Hobbs

Kieth,  Can I change my Profile name? If not, can I unsubscribe and re-register with a different name?  I have been approached and offered a lease on our mineral rights on some property in North Bossier Parrish and AI would like to ask some questions and get some advice and direction without ticking off the Energy Company or the land man.  Help!  Dan

  • Tammy Mabry

I would like to thank you for your site and the access to the knowledge that is out there about oil and gas plays and leasing. This web site helped me and my family secure a very good lease on our small family acreage. I would not have been able to do this without your help and others who are there to help us "little people". I have learned so much in these months of studying and I am grateful for this wonderful resource...GoHaynesville.

  • James McAda

    Keith,

Can you get the word out to all GHS menbers about FrackNation?

  • Bernell McGehee

    Mr. Mauck,

I saw a discussion on here a few weeks back about leasing a right of way for a pipeline, but I can't find it now.  I'm active in the Tuscaloosa discussion, but this was a discussion elsewhere.

I've started discussions on a possible oil production pipeline running through my property and wanted to revisit what I'd read.  Any ideas where I might look?

  • HARTLAND

I just wanted to say thanks for establishing the site

  • illinigirlnow

Keith - we live in Illinois - I have land in Natchitoches Parish - Your site is great, knowing nothing but enjoying all the comments - Thanks so much -  Question - I noticed a question from some one in my situation, that asked the question on spouse rights in La.  Someone attached a section that said how that is handled in Louisiana, I thought I had saved it to my computer, can't find it and can't find where it was posted.  Who would I contact to find this.  Thanks, doing a great job

  • mt "bee" meadows
