RC, Can you tell me when/where the SWEPI meeting in Mansfield will be? I'm close by, but not yet unitized by SWEPI, so I don't get the letters. Thanks.
Hi Richard, Thanks for the email. This is land in Sec. 12 T11N R12W. It is family land. My husband's great-grandfather obtained 160+ acres in 1896 through homesteading in the NE quadrant. My husband and his brother have an undivided interest in about 23 acres. It has been almost 2 years since we were last there and the well in Sec 10 was just going up. I think our section is in conflict with the lignite so that is why no one is drilling. We have found a permit in the southwest quadrant that Encana is getting ready to drill this Spring. I assume we will share in these royalties. I don't think we are related to Randy Ryder. I know Mabel Taylor has some interest in the same property plus her husband land on Double Church Road or Grove Hill Road. She's my father-in-laws first cousin. My husband's grandmother was a Lord. Their family is also from that area. We will probaby visit the area sometime this in March or April when the weather gets warmer. What section is your land in?
