Linda, in my opinion the Haynesville Formation in Township 19 North, Range 9 West is sand, not shale. There is no current publicly available data indicating any areas north of the extreme southern portions of the 18N townships in ranges 13W through 10W are prospective for the Haynesville Shale.

    Shaler,

Soon after I started GHS, the need for a dynamic online tool became apparent. I wanted a site that would nicely compliment GHS and add to the GHS user's experience. I tried a couple a different options, but they stunk. It became obvious to me that this was something that could not be done on the cheap. So after a couple designers and "back-to-the-drawing board moments," we are finally ready to open up shalebiz.com for business. Future tweaks will be performed, but I am thrilled with the potential of this website.

    Some of ShaleBiz.com's features.

Market Place Ad Listings, Water Resource Listings, Lease Offer Database, Royalty Calculator, Resume Database,

Job Listings, Shale Info, News Feeds, Event Listings

Iinitially, I will be offering free listings to GHS members. So go over and get your listing!
