allen, i have enjoyed the chesepeak 18k discussion. let me say i keep up with the thomas gas unit. it is next door to me and i have very good contact at xto. i do not believe they are targeting the smackover. it would either be the bossierville shale or the cotten valley lime. both are good. let me know if i can help you out with info on that part of the county.
