In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

Deanna never changes. I've been over to see them once in their new home in West Monroe and see her occasionally when she comes to Shreveport. The last time was Maggie Warwick's funeral a few years ago. Amy joined us for cocktails and gossip at one of the casinos they like. Guss Weaver has been in poor health for years and through one medical crisis after another. Hi, Sondra. I was the director of December on the Red and the executive director of the Holiday Trail of Lights. Although I did not have a designated office, I worked in the C&T Bureau space before I was exiled to the visitor center in Bossier. It's good to hear from you. Hope you are well.
