Despite your fondness of this co. It would seem they would learn from the best. Keep drilling vert and hold the leases then get bought or save a few shillings and do a horizontal well. Why wouldn't they do a stock or cash transaction--- they don't owe wells fargo till 2010 sometime--a lot can happen in a year

to lease or not to lease

Why should I lease my land and get 25% royalty rather than collect 100% royalty? I know you have to wait longer to start collecting royalties but in the long run I should get much more for my land than the lease bonus.

Getting Rid of Some Surplus

I'm sure those of us connected to the NG Industry won't mind the arctic blast heading our way. This was bound to happen...stay warm up there...and turn that heat up (that sounds bad doesn't it?).

Natural Gas Prices Fall to $5.55 During Christmas Eve 2008...



For the week ended Dec. 19, crude inventories fell by 3.1 million barrels, or one per cent, to 318.2 million barrels, which is 9.1 per cent above year-ago levels, the Energy Department's Energy Information Administration said in its weekly report.
