Hi kp:

My email is warrland@bellsouth.net.

Please email me any information particular to your situation that is pertinent.

I use a 'sliding scale' to determine what amount of bonus and royalty interest is part of my compensation should be, but in this case, since you might be eligible to collect from existing production, you may wish to consider a bonus percentage only payment.

Please feel free to call me and discuss.

My numbers are as follows:

(225) 752-1101 (Office)
(225) 937-6692 (Cell)

Just looking at some of your posts, it looks like you are entertaining several offers at the moment. We may wish to evaluate either one or more of the offers depending on what each company may be looking to do.

Over the past 5 years, I had been asked to lease with Caruthers, JPD, Palmer, etc. but I never did get any letters from Chesapeake, XTO or Petrohawk and I was beginning to think that I was in an unfavorable area as I did not know much about the Haynesville formation. So, a month yesterday, I went to the company websites and sent them an email concerning my land and I had calls from the companies the very next morning. I still can't believe what has happened in such a very short time. I am kind of a hurry now, just finished working and have to pick up my child but I will send you an email later to tell you how to get the bigger companies' attention. I can't believe that the landman just flat out told you that they were not producing the Haynesville there by you. Well, I CAN believe it, they have no limit to what they will do.

Camterra drilled a VERTICAL well into the Haynesville. Other companies are drilling HORIZONTAL wells into the Haynesville. Just because one company refuses to raise your signing bonus does not mean that other companies are not interested. If the landmen you work for tell you otherwise, please check with other companies who will be interested. Or look at some maps.

I think that JPD Energy, Empressa and Caruthers all assigned their leases to Camterra.

Did you lease with Chesapeake or Camterra?

I am South of you.
No, I did not lease before, I got mad at the landmen over some things they told me that was not true so I did not lease. Now, I am really glad I did not sign a couple of years back. I am getting ready to lease now though, with a smile on my face!
