terry, too little information.  This doesn't ring any bells with me and without some detail, impossible to comment upon.

The haynesville operators unitization and pressure agreement was done in the1940's.  It unitized the wells in the pettit zone in haynesville, claiborne parishes.  Since pettit zone wells are still producing I was wondering if this agreement was still in effect for those wells included in the agreement.  thanks

It helps to know that you are not referring to the Haynesville Shale but to the Haynesville Sand.  Unitization and pressure agreements would make no sense between a conventional oil reservoir (Pettit) and an unconventional gas reservoir (Haynesville/Bossier shales).

I think that the unitization and pressure agreement was approved and recorded in a Field Order covering one or more specific sections, units or for a field.  If you search Field Orders in the Document Access portion of the SONRIS database, you may be able to find out the specifics of that original order.  Once you do that and have the reference number and field code, you can search through later Field Orders to see if there was a subsequent order rescinding the original.  If not, the unitization and pressure agreement is still in effect.

thanks
