I thought, in most cases, that unit boundaries followed section lines for gas wells.

WO, you are correct that most Haynesville Units correspond with sections. There are a few exceptions in areas that extend below major water bodies or that are adjacent to the Louisiana state line.

Les, would this area be in Haynesville and Bossier shale areas? Seems like a lot of FAST unit permitting . treeman

Treeman, I think this area has a real good shot at being productive in both the Haynesville and Bossier Shale formations. We just need to see the results from a well drilled in T9N-R10W and a couple in T8N-R11W.

Does anyone have an update on the drilling progress of the Charles Davis 27H well (Serial #241118) being drilled around the boundary of Sections 22 and 27 of T9N-R10W? No information has been posted to Sonris since it was permitted on or about 3/31/10.

Seth, information indicates this well has not yet spud (drilling started).
