Can anyone tell me if the Wood Well is doing any better? I don't know if the well has been cranked way down, or if there has been a problem, but the production has been almost nothing since the Garrett well was finished.

Thanks,

Trisha

Trisha, please correct you discussion title so that we know the correct section-township-range. And don't be grumpy, granny. LOL!
The Wood 30 H #1 has been producing for 12 months. You can expect an 82% decline rate the first 12 months of production. Second year a decline rate of 45%, third year 30%, fourth year 22%, and fifth year 18%.
How did you arrive at these percentages? If that is true the well will not be producing in the 5th year.
FXEF's decline percentages are in the generally accepted range. In addition to any follow response regarding your question I suggest that you search the archives for the numerous and detailed discussions on this topic using the key words, decline curve.
J. Shaler - as Skip says - there have been some informative discussions on decline rates. But the basic idea to understand is that each percentage stated refers to a percentage reduction of the production rate at the beginning of the previous year of prod.

So you do not arrive at 0 production nearly so fast - as in who knows 30, 40, 60 years?
Check your math.
