I can make you a short list with a little work but I do not see any interest in AC prospective minerals at this time. Buyers are cautious and the AC is still unproven. The few buyers that acquired minerals prospective for the TMS are still smarting from that debacle. It has made them doubly wary of the AC.
Skip, you are not quite right in your comment below. If you want further information on this point, suggest you call Mr. Stringer at below number. Petroguard will be 100% involved as will Mr. Stringer. By spending a great deal of time studying the Anadarko chalk wells, he pretty much determined what was wrong with the design of those wells. Explained it so clearly, that even, I, a dumbass lawyer, pretty much understood.
If you ever saw the movie Patton, there is a point when Patton has been suspended from leading the troops because of a transgression. He is beside himself , as he looks at path to Germany, because he is the perfect soldier with the perfect tool, at the perfect moment in history to defeat the Germans. Having Petroguard and its partner as my prospective operator, makes me feel like I've got the perfect General to defeat the austin chalk, and my General is not suspended. That probably sounds a little crazy but I think it reflects what I believe the Petroguard group bring to the development of Austin Chalk wells in Avoyelles/St. Landy/Evangeline/etc. Jack Jurgens
I am Dewey Stringer, President of Petro-Guard. I would very much like to share with you information about our company and if appropriate discuss the possibility of leasing your minerals.
Jay is right. It's not common knowledge now but should be in the not too distant future. Petro-Guard will not be drilling the AC. The company they front for could very well give Petro-Guard the shallower rights to the Wilcox. That would be a better match for their skill set.
