Posting this April PetroQuest presentation both here and in other Louisiana AC Hz Frac play threads.

Note the slides dealing with the AC in Louisiana - and especially the three part slide that compares historical natural fracture AC production to the "new" AC Hz Frac play approach (i.e. EOG et al)

Jus wish they had a log scale on page 10 so that one can see the density porosity in the AC target section.

Very interesting Rock

<The Upper Cretaceous Austin Chalk is a low to moderate primary porosity and low primary permeability reservoir that relies on interconnected fracture networks for production of continuous-type accumulations>>>

Would not that trend place the best AC wells in Texas?

I believe that there will be sweet spots of P&P along the trend in both states. Lots of similarities as to original depositional systems as well as later diagenetic activity and O&G generation and migration.

Ideally one would like to have a map showing porosity trends in the AC across the entire Gulf Coast area to "map" this trend. And I am confident that operators like EOG, MRO, etc have this data.

Workstation / mapping tools today (e.g. PETRA) allow for some major data base manipulation

Not really - my contacts who are playing the Tx AC Hz Frac play say anything over 3% is what they are looking for.

Ideally would like to see better pore space but this should put sufficient O&G in place to tap with frac stimulation

Waiting on BlackBrush....

Anything happening on site?

Two Big tankers came out this morning...BB set up guard shack...

Guard shack makes sense for a lot of reason (including safety).

Depending on size, tankers can carry 150-180 bbls. Assuming that this oil but cannot be sure. They should have some major storage capacity on site with the portable "wheeled" tanks.

Pardon my ignorance guys,  what’s a guard shack?
