Hi Scott,
What are your thoughts on the private versus state lease prices and how they compare? I see from SONRIS that there are a total of 157 acres in Webster that are listed on the 09/10/08 sale date. Mostly small tracts, that might be clean up/fill in for production units.
TR 40080 - 17 acres
TR 40081 - 14 acres
TR 40087- 53 acres
TR 40088 - 11 acres
TR 40094 - 62 acres
totals >>>>> 157 acres

I am thinking that armed with state lease prices, one should be able to match that price with a private lease. 23 days until the next sale date.

thanks,
jim

Hi,
My first offer was $7,500 and the last time I talked with them the offer went up to $8,500. My cell is 623.297.5074, please give me a call and we can discuss. I am in Phoenix, so I believe we are on the same time zone now, it is 8:20 PM local as I send this.
thanks,
jim

Hi OGC,

I also have land in t19n r12w and I have not leased yet. When did you sign and was the lease with Red River? It appears that they are leasing the entire section.

I also live out of state and finding information is difficult.

thanks,
jim

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
