Can anyone tell me anything about the MCCOY ETAL 9 H well, other than Sonris well report says as of 8-28-09 it is flowing to sales? I've had no correspondence from Chesapeake since the 1st of this year saying it was permitted. My lease runs out this month. Thanks to anyone for information.

NA,
I see what you are saying... I have no idea why so many of the wells in 11-15 are low. Many on this site are wondering. But the well in 18-11-14 (which is next to 13-11-15) came in at almost 10,000 mcfe/day. Like the well in Sec 27, it is only a few miles from Sec 9. I, too, hope someone can explain this.
NA,
One more thing... On sonris, 13-11-15 reported 6,327 mcfe/day. But the choke is very small (12/64) and the pressure is fairly high (7124#). I would think this well is very good, and could produce a much higher flow rate if the choke were opened up.
Here's another good report from 11-15:

Spears 35 H #1, Chesapeake Operating: 11.631 MMcf/day IP on 22/64” choke at 5,714 psi; Logansport Field, DeSoto Parish, S35/T11/R15; Haynesville res. A, serial #239544

Again, it's not right next to Sec 9, but it's only a few miles away.
I agree Henry but it does make one wonder why such a big difference in production. There have been a few other ones in this area that are 8-9 Mil and sec. 27 that is over 14 mil. Then you have those just over a million that looks to be some of the lowest ones to date. Maybe these are making so much water and will take some time to clean up. Don't know.
I am sure they will make decent wells in the area and maybe 2 or 3 really good ones. But if I had money on it I would agree with the geologist who has probably looked at more information than is available to us. All I have heard is the area didn't have the greatest geology.
I'll ask Jay to look at 11-15 and see if he can make sense out of it.
CHK conspiracy lol
