I think she is saying it was there for only 35-36 days and removed.
Right they set it up the first week in January and now it looks almost vacant.
Someone previously gave me this info, Tucker #32 #H1 Well, Serial #240406, S32-T17n-R 15W, SPUD 1-1-10. They set it up the first week of January and now it looks like a ghost town. Sound like probably what you are describing.
DM, some Haynesville Shale are now being drilled in 30 days so it is likely the drilling of the well to total depth has been completed. I believe the rig was just recently moved to a well location in the Elm Grove Field in Bossier Parish.
30 days? How much fater is that than last year's time frame? I'm assuming this is saving a good bit of money on costs.
Parkdota, in 2008 the wells were taking almost 90 days. Then in early 2009 the drill time was down to 60 days. Now operators are targeting ~ 42 days spud-to-spud.

Yes, with shorter drill times and lower rig rates the drill cost is down. But, a lot of the savings is being shifted to doing bigger fracture stimulations.
Les, such a large drill time drop amazes me. HBP can now be gained faster hopefully meaning that many people's 2nd wells will come in to play sooner even though years down the road. With drill costs being pushed to bigger fracs I would assume that means bigger production numbers as well. I get the feeling that some of the earlier wells were used almost like test wells to get to this point of shorter drill times, larger fracs, tighter chokes, HA boundry indicators, etc. I'm hoping that saved money for the operators translates to benefits for the royalty owners.
Parkdota, shorter drill times and larger frac jobs should definitely translate into benefits for royalty owners.

Yes, a lot of the earliest wells were to delineate and the play and gather information for optimizing completion and frac designs.

The Lithium Connection to Shale Drilling

Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…
