Haynesville Shale - Well Hall of Fame (3/3/10)
This is the updated "Hall of Fame" with the latest information. Now the list is at 68 wells and includes twelve different operators.
The top two parishes are DeSoto (24) and Red River (22) and they account for 68% of the wells. Top operators are Petrohawk (24), Questar (11), Exco (7), Chesapeake (6), EnCana (5), Comstock (5) and El Paso (4).
The list includes wells that had an initial rate above 20 MMcfd.

Great list. Thanks for posting. I think EOG is about to make the list in Nacogdoches County. Both would be firsts.

Great work - this list would be a really good yardstick to determine how many BCF they will ultimately produce! It is truly the best of the best, but would also give alot of direction as to how the future of the State of Louisiana and those developing the Haynesville, are succeeding. We know the operators are watching carefully, but it would be good for the forum to stay up with production numbers.

I read today that the EXCO-BG Oden 30H6 well in DeSoto Parish has produced 3.2 bcf in its 1st year of production. If my math is correct that averages out to 8.767 mmcfd which is a mind blowing amount of gas.
I don't know what that well's IP was, but it must have been terrific. Regardless though, to have held up as high as it apparently has is certainly noteworthy.

It will definitely get even more interesting as each well in on-line for a year or more and we are able to track the overall production.

Here is a problem. As soon as you get a second well in the unit, you can no longer track individual well production or declines (although you never know chokes or down days) because SONRIS has reports by units, not wells.

I understand that Sonris is in the process of some changes. Maybe this will be one of them.
I thought you could pull up each well and track production.
