It's worth a try. I don't know why they have to keep everything a secret.
I don't know why they have to keep everything a secret

a) So they can lease all the land they can at the least amount per acre possible before news gets out of a big well and the landowners start asking for much, much more in bonus payments.
b) And before rival companies hear of their great good fortune and rush to lease up acreage in the same area, creating competition for leases and thereby driving up the bonus paid (see a) to the unsuspecting mineral owners who are bewildered by all the sudden attention to their mineral rights.
That would seem reasonable except that most of this area was leased up in the frenzy of 2008.
You are right but there are some old leases from 2005 and 2006 that are being top leased now because they are not going to get drilled before they run out.
I am from the Shelby County/Neville/choice area , Where is the old Thompson apple orchard property? Is
that near Bland Lake? We should be part of the Falcom well that is going in in that area but can't find out much about it. Are you with XTO/Hunt/Exxon?
Yes, it is near Bland Lake. We are with XTO/Hunt/Exxon. I haven't heard of the Falcom well, but will ask around.
There is a well on Bland Lake Road (Hwy 1279). I don't know the name of it, but it's on the Ware property, and part of St. Mary's.
That is the USA-BL #1 originally completed in the Huxley (6100) and just transferred this week to the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) field.

I don't know the name of the road it is off of, but the well is Jayhawks DU Well No. 1H and is owned by XTO, Exxon/Hunt
